Introducing Gasket Re-manufacturing:

As part of the club's remanufacturing initiative, the Standard Motor Club is pleased to announce our new service for the remanufacture of Cylinder Head gaskets.

Whilst quantities of New Old Stock gaskets remain in the Club stores for most of the Standard model range from 1935 onwards, there are difficulties with earlier cars, particularly the six-cylinder cars. However, the club is now remanufacturing earlier gaskets in modern materials. It is no longer possible to manufacture in traditional copper and asbestos, since the use of asbestos is hazardous, so the new gaskets use a modern materials.

ANY Head Gasket can be produced by this method. All that is required is a pattern, if we don't have one. It can be the original or an accurate paper pattern taken from it. If you would like a gasket for your car, contact Brian Parkes,  +44 (0)1494 873646 Address is 22 Monument Lane, Chalfont St. Peters, Bucks SL9 0HX

Brian is not available by email.
