Cars for Sale

1937 Flying Nines - one had interior done, one had all chassis running gear done. £2000 ono. the pair, or swap for on-the-road 1933/34/35 Ten or Thames ET6 4D non-HGV lorry on road. Ty Payne 01454 774717 Frampton Cotterell

1934 Ten. I had several years of good motoring out of this, on occasion showing it. Seven years ago I moved house and since then it has been in my dry garage. It needs someone with the time to get it back on the road where it belongs. The bodywork is still in good condition and I am sure that not much mechanical work needs to be done to get this back on the road. A workshop manual for the car will be included if I can find it. With a little effort and time this should make someone a nice practical post-vintage car so I am willing to offer this to anyone in the club for any offer over £1000. Peter Lambert 0781 276 5630 any time or 01992 560378 evenings.

With regret we have to sell our 1939 Flying 8. It is part way through restoration, all chrome re-done, 4 brand new tyres, chassis has been stripped and painted and new floor has been fitted. Brand new wiring loom installed but not fully connected. 12 v dynamo and regulator. Fabric for roof lining and door shuts can be supplied. Off road since 09/07; will require trailering away (delivery can be arranged for an additional cost). The car has currently cost £2800 approx. £1975 ovno. A reasonable amount of spares inc. complete engine, 2 gearboxes (one is 4 speed), entire rear axle, starter motor and various wheel hubs and suspension parts available by separate negotiation.
