Atwell Wilson Classic Car Show

July 13th/14th 2013

We are a small museum in Wiltshire and we have 2 pre war Standards and a post war Triumph amongst our exhibits. The museum is staffed by volunteers and every year we have a Classic Car Show This Year itos on Saturday July 13th for the road run and Sunday 14th for the actual show we usually attract about 350 to 400 entries and in excess of 2000 members of the public through the gate. Each year we have a theme usually a model, make or club that is celebrating an Anniversry. This year we are celebrating ( as in the STAR celebrations) 110 years Of the Standard Motor Company and 90 years of Triumph.

We would like to attract as many Standard and Triumph vehicles as possible.

Here is a poster, and entry form to the Event

The 54th Standard International Rally

August 17th/18th 2013

Due to circumstances beyond the Club's  control it has not been possible to confirm the International Rally in June of  2013, which is the usual timing for this major event.

So the Committee has decided to organise a new Event. This will be held over the Weekend of 17th/18th August, based at:

Breamore House and Countryside Museum  Nr Fordingbridge, Hants, SP6 2DF

One advantage of this later event will be that is that it is well separated from the 110th Anniversary Celebrations in May. It has been a number of years since the Rally was this far south so we hope that all members in the local area, nationally and internationally will be able to join us.

Outline of the Provisional Programme:

Friday 16th August

Meet in the Evening for a Hot and Cold Buffet

Saturday 17th August

There will be a Roadrun for all the participating cars calling at one or more places of local interest, including a lunch stop. In the evening, a dinner will be arranged. It is hoped that accommodation can be arranged locally and there is free camping at Braemore House.

Sunday 18th August

There will be a static Rally  and informal Concours in the grounds of Braemore House, followed by a Prize-giving ceremony. We shall have our own area, but be part of a larger event, called the Hampshire Classic Car show, so there will be other attractions for members to enjoy, such asthe Country Museum, a Beer Tent with Real Ale and food outlets.

If you would like to help in the organisation of this event, please let any committee member know. We need your help.
