From
the Owner of the "Car of the Show" and "Best Post Vintage
Standard"
Dear Phil, Linda, Paul
I just wanted to drop you a line to say how pleased I was, as well as my wife,
daughter and colleagues to attend the Standard International Rally at
Stratford; and really wanted to say a very big thank you to yourselves and any
other of your colleagues in organising what must have been a considerable task.
I would also like to say that the choice of venue couldn’t have been better
from the location, choice of hotel and the commitment and enthusiasm shown to
us by the staff of the Stratford Manor. The road run to Broughton Castle was a
delight through some of England’s finest countryside.
As you may know I wasn’t able to bring my car last year to Wyboston so
Stratford was really the first proper excursion with her since I acquired her
in 2004. She performed exceptionally well in getting there and back and then to
be honoured with the awards she received I can only describe as unbelievable
delight.
So I say once again Phil thank you to you all for your own hard work and
commitment to this annual motoring treat and we look forward to next year with
anticipation.
Kind regards
Steve Collins
