New Organiser

John Lawley, the previous organiser of the West Midlands Group of the Standard Motor Club has recently moved home and will now be residing in Cornwall. We would all like to thank John for his keen help and support.

His place in the West Midlands has been taken by longstanding member and former Spares Officer, Mike Wilks.

Meeting Venue

Hi All,

As previously reported, we have a new venue; The Wharf public house on the Stratford Road, Hockley Heath, adjacent to the canal.

We have been using this venue for about 4 months and it seems to be acceptable to the majority of members so this will be the new meeting place from now on.

The meeting day has now changed to the 2nd Thursday of each month from 8.00pm onwards.

If you have been intending to join the Group for a social event, now is the time to do it. You will be made very welcome. Try to come and make it an even more successful evening.
