Standard Motor Club Area Groups SCOTTISH GROUP - Covering the whole of Scotland Group Up-date: 9th January 2011 CALL FOR REMAINING SCOTTISH GROUP MEMBERSHIP SLIPS! My many thanks to all who have responded to the introductory letter sent out in November 2010. I’m absolutely delighted to have so many respond to my idea of a local Standard group. Thank you so much for your quick responses, your Standard stories and even your poems! I’m so pleased to know that there are so many of you in Scotland who share an enthusiasm for these fantastic vehicles. Many of you phoned or e-mailed me in response to my recent letter but to ensure that you are added onto the group mailing list, please make sure that you have sent back your yellow membership slip. These slips will allow me to double-check your contact and vehicle details and will thus ensure that you are kept up-to-date with all group happenings. If you have a yellow slip still to send back, please can I ask you to return this in the SAE provided as soon as possible? For any Standard owners or enthusiasts in Scotland who have not yet been contacted regarding the Scottish Group, please simply get in touch and I can easily get you caught up all things Scottish Standard Group related. My contact details are: Home Tel: (01592) 751639 E-mail: gc21@st-andrews.ac.uk Alternatively, drop a message to Vintage Highlands on the SMC forum. Within the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sending out further details on the Scottish Group to all who have sent back their membership slips. In the meantime, please check back on this page for further Scottish Group up-dates. Thank You! With Kindest Wishes Gillian Scottish Standard Group Organiser
