The history of awarding the Chairman's Cup this year has been fraught with difficulty.

At the AGM, the Chairman announced that the Cup would be awarded to Mike and Pat Beavis, but the Cup wasn't there, as it was still with the previous recipient! At the International Rally Dinner, the award ceremony was again delayed as the Cup was still at the engravers.

Finally the Cup was presented to the new recipients at their home, by Brian Parkes, on behalf of the Chairman. The award was made because of the continuing support that Mike gives to the Pre-48 Spares Scheme. Well done Mike!
