the Standard Motor Club.
Some facts about
the Standard Motor Club
To dispel
some myths - non-members may be interested to know the following:
- We started
as the "Standard Register Trust" in 1973
- There is a
membership subscription that lasts 12 months
- We are non-profit
making. All our income is re-invested in improving our
services and buying in and remanufacturing spare parts to keep the
marque alive
- The Club
is growing rapidly, membership is up by 20% over the last 2 years
- There are
close to 1000 fully paid-up full members, plus additional
associates
- Non of our
committee nor Spares Officers are paid anything - they are all
volunteers and give their time freely to benefit the membership
- The
committee stands for re-election every year at the AGM and we
welcome new candidates for election
- Our annual
accounts are published at every AGM
- You can
ask questions about any Standard topic and get replies from our
public Forum for free. It is not necessary to belong to the
Club. Just press the sky blue button above
- We accept
membership, and supply parts anywhere in the world.
