Postwar 8 Tourer in Hollywood Film

Greetings from New Mexico, USA!

I've been enjoying your website and learning about my new favorite classic car. I'm writing because of a video I own called 'The Man From Planet X.' There is a small car in the film and I had a devil of a time tracking its identity, but as they say, "Everything's on the web", and I eventually sifted through Austins, and Morrises, until I found the Standard Motor Company. I'm attaching a screenshot I took from the dvd which I'm hoping you can post on your site. If you feel some copyright info may be required, I would guess this might do:

Copyright 1950 by MGM Studios, USA.

The IMDB movie website may have more if you need it. Keep those standards flying!

Many thanks Larry,

In fact you are not the first American who has told me about this. I have featured the film and the car on our website
before:

However, your screenshot is by far better than any I have before so I will gladly publish it.

Many thanks for your time and effort.
Kind regards,
