Who likes my Standard 8?
Hello everyone,
My name is Philip Jenkins
I have a 1958 Standard 8, picture attached
with original 36,500 miles on the clock. The car has cost me
£ 1000-00 in repairs and spares, all
bills available, over the last year and £ 1000-00 when I bought it just
over a year ago. Owing to possibility of me moving abroad, I am trying
to sell it. It is garaged, and as you can see in fairly good condition.
I drive it regularly and it is a fantastic little runner. It will need
someone who is willing to spend time doing it up.
I tried recently to sell it through the
club but only had one chap from Northern Ireland contact me, after I
sent him pictures and details he never got back to me.
I have the original log book and service
manual plus lots of old bills and information on the car. The first
owner was a manager / rep for the Pascall Sweet Company. I am the 5th
owner.
I would like to sell the car and I am open
to reasonable offers around £1500
